Compliance built into how we work
Our commitment
In residential care and youth justice, a lapsed check is not an administrative problem. This page sets out exactly what we hold, what every worker holds, and how to verify both.
Every certificate, ready the first time you ask
Why this page exists
Most labour hire websites say their workers are "fully compliant" and leave you to find out what that covers. That is not much use when you are a rostering manager with an audit in a fortnight.
So we name the checks. Which screening applies to which division, what the qualification floor is, what insurance we carry, and what happens on the day a certificate expires.
If a worker's screening or ticket lapses, they come off the available list that day. They do not appear on a roster we send you until it is renewed.
Screened
Every worker, before their first shift. Screening is matched to the division, not applied generically.
Qualified
Certificate IV minimum in care roles. First Aid and CPR current. Licences sighted, recorded and diarised.
Inducted
Site induction and a safety briefing before the first shift on any new site, care or warehouse.
Monitored
Expiry dates tracked centrally. Renewal chased before the date, not after a client notices.
Before, during and after the placement
Our safety approach
Before placement
Screening verified. Qualifications sighted. Site induction booked. The worker is briefed on the specific placement, not just the role.
During placement
Allocations holds the roster. Incidents are reported the same shift. A worker who is not the right fit for a site is replaced rather than persevered with.
Ongoing
Expiry dates tracked and renewals chased in advance. Debriefs after difficult shifts. Crisis support available to workers 24 hours a day.
The things procurement always wants in writing
Questions we get asked
Can we see certificates before a placement?
Yes. Screening and qualification certificates for the workers we propose are supplied with the shortlist, before anyone is confirmed onto your roster.
What happens if a check expires mid-placement?
The worker comes off the available list that day and we cover the remaining shifts from the same division. You are told, you do not have to find out.
Do you supply workers outside their division?
No. A warehouse worker is never placed in a residential home to fill a gap, and a carer is never sent to a distribution centre.
Who answers the phone at 2am?
A person from the allocations team. Not a voicemail box, and not an answering service that takes a message for the morning.
How do we verify your labour hire licence?
Search our ABN, 42 685 140 096, on the Labour Hire Authority register.
Every Victorian labour hire provider must hold a licence and publish the number. Check ours on the Labour Hire Authority register before you engage us.
