Residential Care
Residential care
We support community service organisations across Melbourne and Victoria with qualified, experienced residential support workers for out-of-home and respite placements.
Continuity is the heart of the service
What we supply
A young person in residential care has usually had a lot of adults arrive and then leave. The single most useful thing a labour hire provider can do is send the same competent person back.
So we roster for continuity first. Where a placement allows it, you get the same worker across the block rather than whoever was available that morning. Where it does not, the incoming worker is briefed on the young person before the handover, not during it.
We work alongside your own staff rather than around them. Your case plan, your behaviour support plan, your escalation path.
Roles we fill
- Residential support workers
- Respite carers
- Circuit breaker placements
- Transport and appointment support
- Court-ordered supervised contact
- 24 hour shift cover and sleepovers
What a residential placement covers
The service
Residential support workers
Residential support workers Qualified, compassionate and experienced carers supplied to community service organisations, short term, long term or ongoing.
Circuit breakers
Circuit breakers A planned break in a placement that has become unsafe or unsustainable, staffed at short notice so the young person is not moved unnecessarily.
Respite care
Respite care Temporary and short-term relief for young people and their primary carers, in home or in a respite placement, days, overnight or weekends.
Transport
Transport Safe transport to appointments, school, family contact and community activities, so social connection and independence are maintained.
Every residential worker holds these before their first shift
Our workforce
Not on file within a fortnight. Before the shift.

- National Police Check, plus an international police check where applicable
- Current First Aid and CPR

Why CSOs choose us
What a rostering manager gets
- The same worker back where continuity is possible
- A briefed worker where it is not
- Certificates supplied with the shortlist, before anyone is confirmed
- Sleepovers and 24 hour cover rostered as part of the placement
- One number, answered by a person, when a shift falls over at 11pm
- A worker replaced rather than persevered with if they are not the right fit for the house
